On February 10, 2023, we were back in person
to celebrate our 24th Annual Valentine’s Ball!
The theme was Celebration, and excitement was in the air from the moment the doors opened. It was heartwarming to see familiar faces, new friends, and supporters of the Residence—a huge thank you for supporting our flagship event. Thanks to the generosity of our community, $647,317 net was raised for the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence – a new record!
Each of you contributed to making the Ball a true success; from our sponsors and donors, those who provided unique and valuable items for our Online Silent Auction, those who bid so enthusiastically; from our beloved volunteers who helped make the evening go smoothly, and those who gave their time and talent to our evening program and decor, and all of our guests who joined us for this memorable evening.
Special guest musicians Adam James and Dawn Tyler Watson created a sensational buzz early in the evening. A festive horn section and jazz band, brought in for this special occasion, accompanied their duet. The Fundamentals swept away the crowd during the dance portion of the evening with their outstanding entertainment, with Dawn and Adam joining together again for another duet.
