Join us for an exciting and interactive professional development education day addressing the important aspects of caring for patients and families along the health-illness trajectory, including the provision of end-of-life care. The topics addressed will interest all healthcare professionals whose work includes caring for an aging population with progressive and advanced illnesses. We will discuss optimal quality of life, dignity, and support along the health-illness trajectory from diagnosis to death and bereavement in different living contexts.
This in-person conference day will create a forum for exchanging expertise, experiences, relevant clinical practices, and research.
This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the Quebec College of Family Physicians, a continuing professional development-accrediting organization recognized by the Collège des médecins du Québec and has been approved for 6.25 Mainpro+® credits.
The conferences will be presented in English – Questions and Comments periods will be bilingual.
