purpose<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3f50b2b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3f50b2b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Montreal Institute for Palliative Care was established in 2018 as a branch of the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><strong>It was born from a simple idea: the insights gained through caring for individuals and families at the Residence can, and should, benefit the broader community.<\/strong> In fact, the Institute helps fulfil the Residence\u2019s vision to improve palliative care capacity, quality and access through education, knowledge exchange, research, advocacy and by serving as a resource for other communities.<\/p><p><br><\/p><p><strong>We focus on strengthening connections, advancing understanding, and promoting practical tools that support well-being in all care settings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By building and sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration, the Institute supports efforts to improve palliative care capacity and quality of life across the entire continuum of
