KIRKLAND, August 25, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence proudly celebrated its 15th<\/sup> Annual Golf Tournament on August 25, 2025, at the renowned Royal Montreal Golf Club. This milestone edition was an outstanding success, raising an impressive net profit of $700,000 to sustain the Residence\u2019s mission of compassionate care.<\/p>

Over the past fifteen years, this tournament has become a cornerstone of community support, contributing more than $5 million to the Residence. These funds ensure that patients can live their final journey in comfort and dignity with their families, surrounded by love and support.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cThis tournament beautifully reflects what community can accomplish when united for a purpose,\u201d said Dale Weil, Executive Director of the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence. \u201cThe generosity of our donors and partners allows us to create meaningful moments\u2014moments of comfort, love, and connection\u2014when they matter most.\u201d<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Each year, the Residence must raise close to $5 million through fundraising and community support to complement government subsidies in order to offer its services free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Events like this tournament are a vital part of that effort.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The day was filled with gratitude and camaraderie as friends, supporters, and community leaders gathered together. Andrew Carter, host of CJAD\u2019s Morning Show and long-time friend of the Residence, once again served as master of ceremonies.<\/p>

The Residence extends heartfelt thanks to its major sponsors, including: The Tenaquip Foundation, The Gustav Levinschi Foundation, Mint Green Group, Birkenstock, Pfizer, The Oka & Gr\u00e9goire Foundation, The Henri Family Foundation, Realterm, Calko Group, Fednav, Redbourne, J. Sonic, OEC Group, and Sports Experts.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Several dignitaries and local leaders were also present to show their support, including Greg Kelley, Member of the National Assembly for Jacques-Cartier; Georges Bourelle, Mayor of Beaconsfield; Michel Gibson, Mayor of Kirkland; and Tim Thomas, Mayor of Pointe-Claire.<\/p>

About the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence<\/strong><\/p>

The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence is an independent, non-profit organization that provides services free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Each year, the Residence must raise close to $5 million through community support and fundraising to complement its government subsidy. With 23 beds, it is the largest free-standing palliative care facility in Canada and is recognized as a leader in the field.<\/p>
