Its success has also inspired annual partner events at the Cambridge and Maxwell senior residences which continue to make meaningful contributions to the Residence\u2019s mission.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Walkers and runners completed either a 1K or 5K course and raised funds through personal fundraising pages. Together, they demonstrated the power of community to make a meaningful difference for patients and families in need.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section Fournel, a three-time Olympian in Sprint Kayak, and Ken Connors, CJAD radio personality. <br><br>\nThis year\u2019s final event tally came in at $370,500 net, bringing the cumulative total raised since its inception to over $2 million. <br>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section loved ones. Each year, the Residence must raise more than $5 million through community support and fundraising to complement its government subsidy.
