A focus on life

Specialized doctors, nurses, patient care attendants, supportive care workers and volunteers work to ensure the comfort and well-being of our terminally ill patients. Your support enhances the quality of life of each patient in their final days. Your generosity means that all our services are offered free of charge.
“Our family quickly witnessed the most amazing, positive, transformative change in Mike’s attitude towards life. His last weeks were filled with love and kindness. Somehow, at the Residence, our family found a haven to heal some history and make peace.” – Mike’s sister-in-law Jennifer

You help families

Your generosity means that the Residence’s supportive care team will be on hand to offer patients and their families the emotional and social support they need. Your donation will support community bereavement groups for adults and children.
“We could not have wished for a better place for my Grandad to spend his final days. Thanks to everyone for your compassion towards patients and their families. It truly means the world.” – John’s granddaughter Katie

Community support makes everything possible

Our 23-bed Residence is Canada’s largest independent community-based palliative care residence. Thanks to hundreds of volunteers, and thousands of donors, our patients can die surrounded by their loved ones with dignity, serenity, and peace in a home-like environment.
“My volunteer work has led me to my passion and forged my career path. The Residence has created a safe and beautiful space for individuals and their families to laugh, cry, and make lifelong memories. I will be forever thankful for the time I spent volunteering at the Residence.” – Caitlin

"When we arrived, everyone was so welcoming, and I knew this was where I wanted my Mom to be.
I can’t even call it a Residence. It’s a comfortable home where you can live your last days in peace and serenity."

Our community has created a place where patients and families feel supported as they prepare to say goodbye. Won’t you help by donating today?
